The zine presents this complex issue through a vivid and relatable garden metaphor, using clear, accessible language to engage a general audience.

In the early days of spring 2026, I authored a letter to the editor for the Vancouver Sun contesting the effectiveness and prudence of involuntary substance use treatment as a policy response in British Columbia. Written in clear, accessible language for a general readership, the piece engages ongoing public and policy debate while raising questions on the evidence base and ethical implications of this approach.
